Final Campaign Tally Hits $1,877,296
Thanks to a few extra laps by our Campaign volunteers, the final total resource Campaign tally came in at $1,877,296—more than $77,000 over goal. Funds raised by this year's Campaign will be used to finance new and existing Chamber programs and events. Thank you to everyone who helped set a new Campaign record! |

Working Mother's Luncheon – June 24
Join other working mothers on June 24 for interactive roundtables where mothers—from a variety of businesses, with children of various ages—come together to seek guidance from one another. If you have ever wanted to experience a "Mom's Day Out" but instead found yourself at work, this is the event for you. Roundtables will be grouped according to the age of the attendee's child. Soon-to-be mothers and those who are planning for motherhood someday in the near future are also encouraged to attend. |

Triangle Chambers Networking Event – June 30
Join area Chamber of Commerce members on June 30 at the First Annual USA Baseball “Extra Innings” Triangle Chamber Networking Event, for the USA Baseball National Team vs. the Chinese Taipei National Team. Chamber members and their families are admitted for free. Chamber members will also enjoy free food and beverages and discounts in the USA Baseball store. Take part in Leadership Raleigh, a premier leadership development program where you'll cultivate your community spirit, develop your leadership skills and make a difference in people's lives. Leadership Raleigh's nine-month program gives a bird's-eye view of community issues. The deadline for submitting your application is June 30. |

Chamber Business Showcase – Aug. 26
At Business Showcase, you'll visit display tables hosted by more than 200 Chamber members and learn what area businesses have to offer while you enjoy networking in a relaxing business-after-hours environment. Tables are still available if your company would like to increase sales, make valuable contacts and promote your products and services to the expected 1,200 attendees. 120th Annual Meeting – Sept. 16
The Annual Meeting is one of the Chamber's most popular gatherings, putting you in touch with some of the top business and community leaders in Raleigh. The evening will include a fun and informative presentation by keynote speaker Ben Stein, a noted economist, actor and "CBS Sunday Morning" commentator. The evening will also include 2007/08 Chamber accomplishments, recognition of the Chamber's current and incoming leadership, presentation of the A.E. Finley Distinguished Service Award, and more. |
