Community Success Forum – May 13 Join local elected leaders as they discuss future water needs at the 2008 Community Success Forum. Learn more about what you can do to conserve water. Get informed on the impact that growth has on water usage and how other parts of the country have dealt with extended water shortages. Also, local companies that are taking a leadership role in water conservation will be recognized.

Pinnacle Business Awards Celebration – May 13 Celebrate the Triangle’s most successful business owners on May 13 at the Greater Raleigh Chamber/RSM McGladrey, Inc. Pinnacle Business Awards Celebration—one of the Chamber’s most prestigious events. Join us for an evening of entertainment and achievement as we recognize both emerging companies as well as companies that have exhibited a substantial history as an established business.

Mega Networking – May 16 Build your business in a fun, entertaining way on May 16 at Mega Networking—the Chamber’s largest structured networking event. Tables of six business people will have a chance to deliver a 30-second commercial and distribute samples, business cards or other printed material. A brief Q&A follows, then you’ll rotate. In just four hours, you’ll get guaranteed exposure to more than 70 potential customers in a fun, stress-free environment.

Chamber Roundtables Information Session – May 20 Learn about the Chamber’s longest-running program, which has been in existence for more than 30 years. Roundtables are an interactive assembly of owners, executives and managers—representing different business types and sizes—that meet monthly. The confidential process enhances decision-making and provides sound advice.

NCSU Economic Development Forum – May 21 This year’s forum focuses on the serious games industry. Learn about new developments and the possibility of the Triangle becoming an East Coast hub for this rapidly growing business sector.

TBJ’s Women in Business Awards Nominations The Triangle Business Journal will honor up to 30 of the area’s most successful professional women with the 11th annual Women in Business Awards. Online nominations are being accepted through May 28 for women with established track records of significant accomplishments in business and/or community service.
