Happy Holidays

GREETINGS FROM LEADERSHIP RALEIGH ALUMNI ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT

Dear fellow alumni,

Doug SprecherA new year is almost upon us—and with it comes a new Leadership Raleigh Alumni Association board of directors, which I am extremely proud to lead! We are excited at the opportunities before us.

Last year, you told us you wanted more community service opportunities, and we listened. In 2012, we look to do even more. We also have several leadership tune-ups, a new Freehafer Scholarship event, and much more planned for the coming year. So continue sending us your ideas. We are committed to making LRAA a vibrant and civically-engaged group.

Thank you for your continued commitment and leadership. On behalf of the entire board, Happy Holidays to you and your families!

Doug Sprecher
President, LRAA Board of Directors

LEAD AND FEED A SUCCESS

LR alumni recently collected 250 pounds of food for the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. Becky Smith, LR 24, Bryan Bickley, LR 22, and Chuck Norman, LR 26, led the effort last month to collect food donations, setting up several locations throughout Raleigh. Thank you to all LR alumni who contributed to the effort!

Impact of Leadership Raleigh:
Leadership Raleigh inspired me to remember that all of us have to do our part to make the community a better place for everyone.

Community involvement:
I don't want to single out one, but I personally and professionally support a wide variety of organizations throughout the Triangle area.
