The 27th Leadership Raleigh class kicked off their year on Aug. 25 at the annual orientation. Members of the new class represent a great group of professionals with strong backgrounds and a wide range of experiences. Click here for a complete list of the new class members. The new class will travel to Pine Needles for their retreat in September and hold their first session on Oct. 11.

LRAA's mission is to provide opportunities for members to remain connected with each other and community issues. Dues help us carry out our mission and aid in providing operational support of LR's programs, education, and website, as well as the direct scholarship support in assuring class diversity through minority, small business, and nonprofit representation.

Best Leadership Raleigh memory:
Our group volunteered with InterAct of Wake County and we were able to provide them with a website and brochure for the agency. As a team, we were able to meet with several of their counselors, social workers, and other team members who help to continue to make this organization a success.

Impact of Leadership Raleigh:
Leadership Raleigh inspired me be involved with nonprofit agencies, and I am fortunate to still have relationships with several members of my group.

Community involvement:
Band Together, Women’s Foundation of NC, Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Board of Advisors, Triangle Go Red for Women.
